The 2008 elections in Wolverhampton saw the once dominant Labour Party ousted from power leaving the City Council with no over all control. Labour are still the largest group (28) to the Conservatives' 27 and Lib Dem's 5. Zahid is determined to carry on the campaign and take the seat at the next election in 2010.
