New DELGA team unveiled

Clegg challenges Brown and Cameron to match their words with deeds

We need to reopen the political system and revitalise public trust in government and public bodies, Nick Clegg has said. Mr Clegg called upon Gordon Brown and David Cameron to support the Liberal Democrats in establishing an independent British Constitutional Convention, with the purpose of constructing a consensus on the reforms needed to reopen the political system and revitalise public trust with representatives from all political parties and all aspects of society playing a part.

Sweetman Street drainage problems to be solved

A resident contacted Councillor Robin Lawrence to complain about flooding problems and he demanded an investigation from the City Council's Highways Division so as to put an end to the flooding nuisance. Thanks to these actions by Councillor Lawrence the Council has promised to repair the problem leaving the residents flood free.Claire Darke said "You can rely on Park Ward Liberal Democrats to take residents' concerns seriously and deal with problems swiftly. A resident of Sweetman Place had been promised action by the Tories twenty years ago but nothing happened.
