Residents in the Lanesfield area of Springvale Ward complained to their local Lib Dem Councillors about youths on motorcycles riding along the public right of way between Wood Street and Dresden Close. One Resident suggested that there should be barriers that would let pedestrians through be stop motor bikes. Cllr Richard Whitehouse contacted the Highways Department after getting support from the local police and a barrier was installed early in August.
Folkestone Lib Dem Campaigner Gary Fuller has reported an alleyway in Guildhall Street, Folkestone, which is filled with rubbish and waste. The alleyway, which is not a public right of way, is filled with broken furniture and household waste.
